For some unknown reason to us, we were not very successful growing King Strophaira (Stropharia rugosoannulata) in the lab last year. It was strange to us as we manage grow much more complicated species!
We aren’t sure what we have changed but this is the most beautiful King Stropharia grain spawn we have produced to date. I was so excited I had to take a photo!
I am interested in growing King Stropharia in a low berm in my yard and wonder if I should inoculate freshly cut branches over the next few months in order to get mushrooms by early summer.
Also, do you sell inoculant?
Yes – Wine Cap/King Stropharia we sell in the spring: https://shop.fungiakuafo.com/products/sawdust-spawn-king-stropharia-1kg-plastic-bag
