We created some Shaggy Mane sawdust spawn a while back and put it in a small cardboard box.
We then buried the cardboard box in a compost pile that we don’t plan on using until next year.
We checked on it about 3 weeks after we buried the box and the mycelium is colonizing the compost!
Hey Megan
did you have any success with the Shaggy manes?
I am gonna try that , so i was just wondering.
We have Shaggy Manes randomly around our garden now! They don’t stay where you “plant” them but they certainly grow around where they like.
